In order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, we are adjusting our office hours for the time being. As far as we know, none of our staff or patients have contracted Coronavirus. We will be administering allergy shots and are instituting extra safety precautions including having no patients sitting in our waiting room, wearing protective equipment, etc. In order to schedule an allergy shot, please call our main office phone number (203) 978-0072 during the hours listed below rather than the allergy shot hotline. We are scheduling patients with alot of time between visits so there is limited patient to patient contact. We are only scheduling patients who have no sign of infection and certainly no fever.
If you need an office visit, we are scheduling telehealth visits (see below). We can manage most infections such as sinusitis and bronchitis this way, and also manage asthma, allergies, etc. via telehealth however if you are severely ill, you need to go to an urgent care center or emergency room.
We understand that patients still need medication refills and other medical questions addressed. For this reason, we are still staffing our office for telephone calls and you can contact us at 203-978-0072 during limited hours. As always, we have a 24 hour emergency answering service as well but only to be used for true urgent matters.
If you think you might have Coronavirus, please go to a hospital-owned urgent care or emergency room so testing can be performed if necessary.
If all you need is a prescription refill please ask your pharmacy to contact us electronically and we can fill your prescriptions but please allow a 24 hour turnaround time.
Our allergy shot and phone hours for next week (April 6) will be:
Monday 9-1 pm
Tuesday 12-4 pm
Thursday 12-4 pm
Friday – Closed
Telehealth Services – Stay Home – Be Safe! Call (203) 978-0072 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule
We are performing telehealth services. You can perform the visit on your laptop computer if equipped with a camera. Please remember that telehealth visits are more limited than office visits as certain aspects of the physical examination cannot be performed. The telehealth visits will temporarily take the place of office visits and can be performed for all the usual problems such as sinusitis, bronchitis, asthma, allergies, etc. In this way patients can stay safely in their homes while they get the medical care they need. The insurance companies generally are covering telehealth visits during the coronavirus crisis.
If you would like to schedule a telehealth visit please call us on our general number at 203-978-0072 during the above times or email email@example.com. Please do not email any personal or private information as email is not secure enough for this.
Additional information will be posted when available.
