Insurance Plans Accepted
The Allergy & Asthma Center of Stamford tries to participate in most of the reputable health insurance plans in the region. If you don’t see your plan listed, please call your insurance company to double check. Most plans do not require referrals from your primary care provider, however, if you are not sure, please check with your plan. If you need a referral from your primary care physician, please make sure they issue the referral prior to your visit.
Bring your insurance card to your appointment. Copays are due at the time of your visit. The vast majority of our services are covered by insurance (patients still need to pay any applicable copays as determined by the insurance company plan).
After your visit, our billing staff will submit the claim to the insurance company for reimbursement. This helps to cut down on unnecessary administrative costs and control the total health care budget.
